In compliance with Law 15/1999, 13th December, with regards to the Protection of Personal Data, Parque Científico-Tecnológico de Almería (PITA), S.A. (from hereon PITA) company tax code A04418067, hereby informs the user of the existence of an automated personal data file registered with the R.G.P.D. (General Register of Personal Data) designed to facilitate current and potential client administrative procedures.
SENDING AND REGISTRY OF PERSONAL DATA
The sending of your personal information is a prerequisite to contacting PITA, and receiving information about products and services. Failure to provide said information, or the non-compliance with the present data protection policy, will result in the impossibility of subscribing to, registering with, or receiving information about PITA products and services. In compliance with Law 15/1999, of 13th December, with regards to the Protection of Personal Data, we hereby inform you that the information obtained upon the sending of your personal details will be incorporated into a file belonging to PITA, registered office: Avenida Federico García Lorca, 57 - 5º B - Post Code 04004, ALMERIA. The security measures laid down in Law 1720/2007 of 13th December are applicable to the above.
ACCURACY AND VERACITY OF SUPPLIED DATA
The accuracy and veracity of any information sent to PITA is the sole responsibility of the sender. PITA accepts no liability whatsoever for said information. The users guarantee and are responsible for; the accuracy, validity and authenticity of the personal data sent and undertake to keep said information up to date. Users will provide complete and correct information on the registration or subscription form.
PITA will not be held liable for the veracity of any data, from any other source, other than that which has been compiled by its own information service. It is for this reason that it cannot be held responsible for any hypothetical damages arising from the use of said information. PITA will be exonerated of any liability whatsoever, in the face of any damages suffered by the User, as a consequence of error, defect or omission in the information provided by PITA, in the case that said information should come from other sources than those belonging to PITA.
AIMS
The data collection aims are as follows: the realisation of activities organised by, or in which PITA participates, and the transmission of information related with the development of PITA itself and the services it provides.
CESSION OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES
No user information will be ceded by PITA to third parties. However, should said information be requested by an enterprise, express permission shall be sought, of the user concerned, prior to cession.
EXERCISE OF THE RIGHTS OF ACCESS, MODIFICATION, CANCELLATION AND OPPOSITION
Your correspondence in the exercise of your rights of access, modification, cancellation and opposition may be addressed, in writing, to PITA, registered office: Avenida Federico García Lorca, 57 - 5º B - Post Code 04004, ALMERIA. To exercise said rights, and in compliance with Regulation 1/1998 of 19th January, of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, it is necessary for you to duly accredit your identity to PITA by means of a photocopy of your National Identity Card or, that of any other legally recognised and valid means of identification.
IT SECURITY MEASURES
PITA Security levels comply with the legal requirements laid down in Law 1720/2007 of 21st December. Nevertheless, among other additional security measures in place are the latest firewalls, technical measures such as encrypting software for confidential information, personal information access control, restricted users, security policies, user names and passwords which expire according to the requirements of the Data Protection Law. PITA has also installed other systems designed to avoid misuse or abuse, alteration, unauthorised access to, and theft of, Personal Data entrusted to PITA. PITA will not be held responsible for any possible damages suffered due to interference with, omissions, interruptions, computer viruses, telephone breakdowns or disconnections of this electronic system due to causes not attributable to PITA; delays or blockages in the use of the said electronic system caused by technical faults or telephone line or Data Processing Centre overloads, or the Internet or other electronic systems as well as damage caused by illegitimate intromissions by third parties outside PITA control.
ACCESS AND CONSENT
The User declares having been informed of the Personal Data Protection Conditions and hereby gives consent for said Data to be automatically processed by PITA in such a way, and for such purposes, as laid down in the present Personal Data Protection Policy
