The PITA Research and Technology Transfer Centre will be operational in January

Also present during the visit were the Provincial Representative for Economy, Innovation and Science Adriana Valverde and Agriculture and Fishing Representative Jose Antonio Salinas. The tour was guided by PITA Managing Director Alfredo Sánchez. All technical information was provided by project architect José Ángel Ferrer and project manager and architect Armando Vega.

This brand-new building, whose total cost reaches 14.5 million euros, features an innovative exterior whose marble slab-façade is nearly completed. This particular innovation is a solution provided by the Andalusian Stone Technology Centre (CTAP) which makes it possible to regulate the indirect and filtered entrance of natural light. Another part of the project also related to the exterior is the installation of several vertical gardens that pass through the interior gaps running from the ground to the roof.
