PITA participates in Parks World Conference held in Copenhagen
PITA has participated in the latest edition of the Parks World Conference organised by the International Association of Science Parks (IASP) in collaboration with Scion DTU and Symbion, two Danish science parks. This 28th edition of the conference, which lasted 4 days, brought together representatives from 143 science and technology parks from all over the world.

With the slogan, “Roadmaps for Future Navigation,” this year’s conference focused interest on the role that science and technology parks should play in order to respond to global challenges and promote sustainable growth. The philosophy of creating “roadmaps for future navigation” seeks to increase specialization among these parks, and also incubators, so as to optimize their impact both socially and economically. During this 4-day meeting, three fundamental areas were identified which could guide parks towards the creation of these roadmaps: People & Competences, Economics & Policies, and Technology & Innovation.
