PITA introduces blog
The Almería Science and Technology Park now has its own blog, blog.pitalmeria.es, which will make it possible to take advantage of the Internet’s collaborative benefits. Companies, entrepreneurs, researchers, scientists, teachers, technicians, and any one else from the scientific, business, teaching or innovation communities will have a place to express their ideas on this new site.
PITA Managing Director, Alfredo Sánchez, has inaugurated the section called Cuaderno de bitácora (Binnacle Log) in which each month a guest firm will address an important topic related to science and technology, business competitiveness, or the new economic development model that the western world is following. The PITA blog also has a section for its own Entidades (Entities) which will contain all of the news related to the companies and businesses based at the Park. In the section called La Escotilla (The Hatchway) PITA will offer all kinds of news items directly or indirectly related to the Park: curiosities, announcements and tenders, such as that of the 2011 AJE Awards in the categories of entrepreneurial initiative and business trajectory (deadline on 30 September).

Indeed, this blog provides internets users with a tool that will enlighten all parties involved as it opens a space for reflection, opinion, instruction and enjoyment.
