CDTI presents lines of aid for technology-based companies

The Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) has made public its lines of aid for technology-based companies in a conference organised by the Mediterranean Foundation Enterprise-University of Almería. PITA has collaborated in the event led by Mr. Luis Maeso, representative from the CDTI Markets Directorate.

During his presentation, Mr. Maeso listed the various doors open to those companies which can be classified as technology-based. Mr. Maeso stated, “I’d like to speak about what is currently happening. We represent the core of the government’s strategy to transform the Spanish economic model into a sustainable economy based on innovation and knowledge.” The CDTI representative continued by pointing out that his organisation “prioritizes” projects according to their real potential for internationalization.

In addition to mentioning the various lines of aid contained in the Framework Programme – “the vast forum where the true market exists, both now and in the future,” Mr. Maeso stated – the conference also saw the presentation of direct aid offers from CDTI, which represent a mix between financing and subvention.

Following Mr. Maeso’s presentation the conference proceeded with an enthusiastic discussion with entrepreneurs and researchers participating in the event. This talk was moderated by Jorge Molina, president of the Research Support Team of the Mediterranean Foundation Enterprise-University of Almería. Also participating were Carlos Vargas, OTRI Director, and Alfredo Sánchez, Managing Director of the Almería Science and Technology Park (PITA).
