Breca Health Care SL and Aqualgae, UAL Social Council Award for Best Entrepreneurial Project

This year’s University of Almería Social Council Award for Best Entrepreneurial Project, among whose judges was PITA Directing Manager, Alfredo Sánchez, was shared by two winners: Breca Health Care S.L. and Aqualgae. The award for Student-Entrepreneur, financed by the Ministry of Education, went to Javier Vidal Peña for his project called Webson.

The University of Almería Social Council, the University Employment Service-Fundación Mediterránea and the Ministry of Education, with the backing of the Almería Science and Technology Park (PITA), the Economists Association of Almería, IDEA (Agency for Innovation and Development of Andalusia), Almería Economic Initiatives, Association of Young Entrepreneurs, Cajamar, Unicaja, La Caixa, the Vice-Chancellor’s Office of Planning, Quality and Company Relations, and the UAL Research Results Transfer Office, are collectively responsible for awarding the University of Almería Awards for Entrepreneurial Initiatives. These awards were born of an initiative to motivate and encourage the start-up of innovative entrepreneurial projects created by students, graduates and university staff.
